How Linen Exchange Works at UCLA
UCLA's residence halls serve thousands of students each year, and keeping everyone in fresh linens is no small task. Here's how the linen plan works.
The Basics
Students living in a UCLA residence hall can enroll in the linen plan. For a flat fee per term, residents get access to clean sheets, pillowcases, and towels, all exchangeable at their building's front desk.
How Students Enroll
Enrollment happens online through a secure payment link. Students select their plan, including optional add-ons, and pay. Their account is created automatically and they're ready to start exchanging.
The Exchange Process
When a student needs fresh linens, they visit a front desk with their used items. The exchange is quick. Residents walk out with clean linens in under a minute.
End of Term
At the end of each service term, students return all their items. Any unreturned linens are billed automatically. The process is fully managed, with no manual invoicing needed.
What the Program Provides
The UCLA linen plan gives residents convenient access to fresh linens throughout the academic year, while giving housing administrators the tools to manage the program efficiently.
